Tyler Texas Wood Furniture Store - The Wood Shed

The Wood Shed opened in the fall of 1976 as Can Do Furniture. Merri's uncle and aunt, Jake and Betty bought the business in March of 1980 and changed the name to the The Wood Shed. Jake and Betty retired and Benny and Merri took over January 1, 1990.

We offer a full line of stains, finishes, and finishing services. We have about 8000 square feet of showroom and warehouse space. The Wood Shed sells only quality wood products-no particle board here. Our showroom services the immediate Tyler area and all of East Texas. We also service the North Texas area. We also have customers coming from the Dallas and Houston area.
